Pastor Barbara Berry-Bailey
Intentional Interim Pastor

Our Savior Photo

Hi everyone,
In Sunday’s Gospel, Matthew narrates one of Jesus’ controversial parables, in which Jesus says the reign of God is like workers who get paid the same no matter when they start.  We also hear, that when God changes his mind about punishing Nineveh for their evil ways, Jonah is angry.  Yet God is gracious and merciful, abounding in steadfast love.  In baptism we receive the grace of God that is freely given to all.  As Luther wrote, in the presence of God’s mercy we are all beggars.
Remember, we have returned to two Sunday worship services: Traditional at 8:45am, and Contemporary at 11:00am.  Sunday School classes for all ages is at 10:00am.  We hope you will join us for Worship and to learn more about our merciful God on Sept. 24th!
Pastor Barbara Berry-Bailey, our Intentional Interim Pastor, will shepherd us through this “transition time”.  With her guidance, we will continue to provide joyful worship and many activities, while we pray for the Pastor that God is preparing for us.
