OSLC Worship

Worship is how we live our lives with God each day. We gather regularly to be in community with folks to strengthen one another in our relationship with God. We gather with open hearts and open hands. Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday and Christ invites us all, and invites you, to gather at the feast of love and mercy. No one is excluded for any reason.

*Masks are currently required. We follow all CDC guidelines and updates.

OSLC Worship Leaders

We have so many opportunities for worship leadership outside of music. Other roles include setting the altar for Holy Communion, lighting candles, assisting with prayers, reading the lessons, being an usher, or greeting guests. You can be part of our prayer ministry as we pray for others during communion. If your talents run toward the audio and visual world, we have a projection and sound system for you to help us with. All that is required is a willingness to serve. We provide the training!

Worship & Music

“Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and  sing praises! Sing praises to the LORD with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody! With trumpets and  the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the LORD!” – Psalm 98:4-6

Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church offers worship that is joyful, musical and diverse! We have plenty of opportunities for you to share your musical talents in Choir, the Worship Band, or perhaps sharing a solo or playing an instrument as part of worship. Do you like to act? We also have occasional dramas that are part of worship as well! All our musical groups are volunteer and open to anyone that would like to participate.

Judy England serves as our pianist and Sue Hagen serves as our Chancel Choir director. Please see our Enews for updates on Choir rehearsals and worship participation. All voices are wanted! Our Worship Band leads offers contemporary music. Again, all instruments and voices are wanted!

Our Worship & Music Team can answer any questions, and help you find a way to share your musical talents. You are welcome to contact the church office at office@oslcslc.org or 801-278-1412.
